Police intensify efforts to find missing 14-year-old schoolgirl who has not been seen since Saturday night

Police have ramped up their efforts to find a missing teenage schoolgirl who was last seen more than 48 hours ago.

Lexia Lockwood, 14, was reported missing from the Leeds area of Yorkshire at 11.42pm on Saturday, October 9. 

She is described as white, 5ft 2ins tall, of medium build with long, dark brown hair. 

She was last seen wearing a black jumper, glasses, blue jeans, black gilet and white Nike trainers.

West Yorkshire Police have carried out 'extensive enquiries' as their search intensified after concerns for her welfare were reported. 

Anyone who has seen her or who has any information that could assist in tracing her is asked to contact Leeds District Safeguarding Unit via 101 quoting log 807 of October 10 or online via www.westyorkshire.police.uk/101livechat.
