As previously reported, Eva Marcille took to Instagram on Tuesday (Nov. 8) to share her perspective on the Wins & Losses rapper's troubling ordeal. After catching wind of the post, Tank responded by advising the model-turned-actress that her criticism of Meek's fans was not the proper route.

In spite of his cordial approach, Tank's comments left many of his fans bewildered, leading him to clarify his initial statement. Early Wednesday afternoon (Nov. 8), the R&B singer doubled down on his support of the Philly rapper in an Instagram video. "Let me clear this up, Free Meek," Tank begins the short clip. "We're allowed to feel that way. We're allowed to post that."

"We don't understand the nuances of this case," he continues. "All I can say is I don't want the brother to do time. We're allowed to feel that way."

In the days since Meek's sentencing, several other celebrities have rallied behind the artist includingJay-Z, who addressed the injustices of the legal system during a recent tour stop in Dallas.
