Shortly after launching into a performance of “Bed Peace,” the songstress realized that a concertgoer was in need of medical attention. “Let’s hold,” she said. “We gotta make sure everybody is safe and that we’re good in here. Make way for a medic.” The medics arrived and picked up the fan, who appeared to be suffering through a seizure. They then moved her to the back of the venue, as seen in fan-shot footage from the event.
After pausing for the emergency, Jhené issued a warning to fans that the show would feature strobe lights that could sometimes trigger seizures. “I want to make sure everyone is safe,” she said, before continuing the performance.
Following the harrowing ordeal, the "Wading" singer took to Twitter to wish the fan well. “Thank you to everyone in ATL who came out to the #FordFrontRow @billboard event," she wrote. "I appreciate all of the positive energy u guys were giving. Sending healing light to the young lady who got sick at the show… if any of her friends or fam can give me an update I’d appreciate it!”
