In the one-minute video, Kirkland uses K. Dot’s popular track “DNA” in order to rap about why he is qualified for the position. "I got, I got, I got, I got internship on internship inside my resume," Dawayne raps. "In that visual communications I got BFA/Every time I get behind computer I make a soufflé/I can fix your homie website, I can even illustrate."
He then continues to point out his strongest attributes with some great wordplay. "You won’t find this in diary that I’m a hard worker/And you can criticize and I won’t take it personal/I know there’s room to rise/I hope this emphasized that for the job I’m fit/And if you’re Pennywise, you’ll realize I’m really it," he spits.
For the visuals, Kirkland placed a photo of himself on the cover of the DAMN. album and added special effects to make his mouth move.
Kirkland’s digital resume has gotten more than 800,000 views since he uploaded it to YouTube on Monday (Sept. 25). It’s unclear whether the recent grad nabbed the job, but any company would be stupid not to hire someone as talented as him.
