Early Monday afternoon (Sept. 25), the Migos frontman took to social media to share his excitement for Cardi dethroning Taylor Swift's "Look What You Made Me Do" from the No. 1 slot on the Billboard Hot 100. "Y'all hos can't f**k with my b***h," he exclaimed, further lending his voice to shine a bigger light on her accomplishment. And all those muscled arm emojis are further evidence of just how proud he is.
The song now marks the first solo woman-fronted rap single to ascend to the top of the charts since Lauryn Hill's 1998 effort "(Doo Wop) That Thing." The occasion was definitely a reason to go all out in terms of a celebration, which is just what Cardi did, holding a blowout at the Atlantic Records offices Monday following the official announcement.
