According to TMZ.com, the rapper was standing outside of Hollywood’s Shoe Palace when gunshots erupted. Nearby officers responded to the shooting rushing Dolph to a local hospital and reportedly detaining one person of interest.

This isn’t the first attempt on Young Dolph’s life. In February, his SUV was shot at over 100 times while attending CIAA Weekend in Charlotte, North Carolina. In May, fellow Memphis rapper Blac Youngsta turned himself in for the shooting after a warrant was issued for his arrest, but he still maintains his innocence.
